Volunteering Opportunities at Doune The Rabbit Hole.


Volunteering with us is a great way to enjoy the festival from the inside!  We rely upon a large team of individuals who share our ethos and are committed to helping us to deliver the best possible festival experience for all involved and attending.

We are looking for individuals with a background and interest in music, art and performance and help us to run things smoothly and deliver the best possible experience for artists, performers and ticket holders.

As always, we need people to help out both back and front of house during the event to make sure the festival runs smoothly.  Volunteers are required to be onsite by 7pm on Thursday 21st August and stay until festival end on Sunday night. 

Some of the roles we are looking to fill over the weekend are:

  • 3 Volunteer Group Leaders
  • Set up/Take Down Crew
  • Box Office Staffgeodomebuild1
  • Stewards
  • Stage Hand/ Runner
  • Technical Crew (back stage)
  • Production Office Volunteers
  • Catering volunteers
  • Drivers (with vehicles)
  • Merchandise sellers
  • And more…

Applicants should be available for one Ralph Thompsonshift per day during the festival. Shifts will organised on a rota-system, each shift lasting approx. 6 hours.

Once your application has been accepted, you will be required to sign a volunteer contract and provide us with emergency contact details as well as your mobile telephone number on which we can contact you in the event of you failing to turn up for a shift. You will also be required to pay a £30 deposit returnable to you in full at the end of your contract with us.

DTRH will provide volunteers with the following:

  • One meal per day and breakfast/tea and coffee.View from above
  • Full access to Doune the Rabbit Hole Festival site and camping facilities.
  • A LOT of fun making new friends, enjoying bands and your surroundings and the satisfaction of being part of the team -helping the event run smoothly.
