Doune the Rabbit Hole is an intimate, independent music & arts festival located amidst the glorious ancient oak trees of the Cardross Estate in Port of Menteith.

DTRH started life in 2010, at a site near Doune (hence the name) and has since been celebrating the very best of Scotland’s independent/DIY arts scene alongside amazing international guests each summer.

It’s not all about the music either! This year’s festival will include a huge kid’s area, spoken word tent, workshops, a cinema and delicious local food, ciders and craft ales.

Top Five Best Family-Friendly Festivals
The Guardian

“There’s little doubt that Doune the Rabbit Hole is something special; a festival which is family-friendly, extremely well programmed and bearing a strong sense of localism..”
The Scotsman

“Sights like unicorns and dragons handing out bananas, and a bride and groom waltzing round in glow-in-the-dark outfits come as standard. The programming is equally magical, thriving on local grassroots music, and inspired global names.”
The Herald

“Doune the Rabbit Hole brings together people, music and ideas in one idyllic place and enables them to share in a communal experience in which peace, love and understanding lie at its very heart. It is a great wee festival.”
