Terms and Conditions of Ticket Purchase

Please read the terms and conditions below as your purchase of a ticket signifies your agreement to these.

Doune the Rabbit Hole Festival 2023, an event owned and operated by Festival Beverage & Property Services Ltd is hereafter known as “Doune” or “Doune the Rabbit Hole” in this document and all terms and conditions apply to ticket purchasers for any event Doune manages and/or promotes.

Purchase of this ticket and/or its presentation at the event signifies your agreement to the following terms and conditions set by the promoter (Festival Beverage & Property Services Ltd).

Doune’s terms and conditions include but are not limited to: 

  1. Your ticket is valid for one person only. 

  2. You are advised to check your ticket upon receipt. 

  3. No under 18s are allowed to attend unaccompanied. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children throughout the festival. Please do not allow them to enter or climb on any areas that are out of bounds. This includes the walls and trees. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 21 and over, on entering the festival venue and at all times while attending the festival. One adult aged 21 or over may accompany a maximum of TWO persons under 18 to the festival venue. 

  4. Persons under 18 may not bring alcohol into or consume it anywhere at the festival venue; original photo-ID with proof of age will be required for persons claiming to be 12 & under, 18 & over and 21 & over. Check www.dounetherabbithole.co.uk for acceptable forms of photo IDRight of Admission reserved: the promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to or to eject ticket holders from the festival venue without a refund.

  5. Tickets are not refundable unless the event is completely cancelled e.g. due to adverse weather conditions. If some elements or part of the event is cancelled (e.g 1 day out of a 3-day festival), the promoter reserves the right to offer pro-rata refunds accordingly but is not obliged to. 

  6. If the Festival is cancelled, the Promoter shall not be liable for any costs or expenses wasted or incurred by the ticket holder including but not limited to: accommodation or transport costs, or any direct or indirect losses or damage of whatever kind.

  7. In case of the event being cancelled due to Coronavirus, Doune the Rabbit Hole will ensure any and all tickets are valid for the event the following year - no refunds will be available automatically in this instance.

  8. Tickets bought through WeScanTickets may be re-sold, please register the new owner’s details using the WeScanTickets customer services or by emailing us. Tickets purchased through any other resellers other than our official reseller Ticketswap are not allowed to be re-sold.

  9. Each ticket is an easily printable document that will be emailed to you. The name on the ticket is not checked against an ID unless there is a problem scanning the ticket. If someone has a copy of your ticket they can claim your wristband(s). We cannot be held responsible for the security of your ticket any more than we would be responsible for you losing a traditional physical ticket. 

  10. Tickets are for the festival and not for one specific artist. 

  11. The promoter will use their best endeavours to present the line-up as advertised, but the line-up of artists cannot be guaranteed. 

  12. Should one or more artists cancel, the festival will go ahead as normal. Refunds will not be given in these circumstances.

  13. Tickets are issued subject to a licence being granted by the local authority.

  14. The festival site encompasses car parks, campsites, arenas, and any other areas of Cardross Estate.

  15. Aggressive or anti-social behaviour will be met with a zero-tolerance policy and immediate ejection.

  16. In the case of lost, stolen or incomplete tickets - Admission will not be allowed to persons without a ticket or to a person presenting an e-ticket ticket that has already been scanned, or to persons whose tickets have been lost or stolen; keep tickets safe – treat them like cash.

  17. In the case of lost or altered wristbands - Attendance without the relevant wristband issued by the event is not allowed and will result in ejection; wristbands that have been tampered with or removed will be declared invalid and lost wristbands will not be replaced.

  18. If your wristband is damaged or broken go straight to the box office to request a replacement. The wristbands are designed to be worn for a week so should last one weekend easily. If you lose your wristband then we will not be able to replace it even if you can prove that you purchased a ticket. If you come to us with a damaged wristband that is still attached to your wrist then we will replace it with a new one. If you come to us with a wristband that has been torn off completely then you must prove that you bought a ticket before we will be able to replace it.

  19. Prohibited items include:Glass, dangerous objects, drones, flares, fire, smoke bombs, weapons, drugs, Chinese lanterns, fireworks, illegal substances, nitrous oxide and legal highs: none of these are permitted at the festival venue and will be confiscated; use of fireworks, flares or Chinese lanterns will result in immediate ejection; patrons' clothing and bags will be searched at gates. Alcohol opened soft drinks & water are not allowed to be taken into the arena from the campsites.

  20. No alcohol may be brought into the arenas from campsites; searches will be in place.

  21. Campsite curfew and vehicles:There will be no re-entry to campsites from outside the festival or the car parks between 1200 midnight and 0800; no driving of vehicles will be permitted in the tented camp sites; no sleeping in vehicles in car parks is allowed

  22. Holders of Campervan/Caravan tickets must also hold valid tickets to the event to be allowed entry to the arena. Tickets are valid for Campervan or one car/caravan. A Campervan must have fitted sleeping and fitted cooking or washing; no sleeping tents or trailer tents may be pitched in the Campervan/Caravan area.

  23. Cars and non-live-in vehicles must park in the parking fields, as directed by Doune Stewards.

  24. No vehicles are allowed into the camping fields.

  25. The car parks and live-in vehicle fields close at dusk (10 pm), vehicles arriving after dusk will not be allowed onto the site. The box office shuts at 10 pm.

  26. To have a Live-In Vehicle or Caravan in the Campervan field you must buy an adequate number of Plot Tickets and agree to the Doune Live-In Vehicle and Caravan rules as displayed here.

  27. You may not exceed the size of your pitch, in which case, Live-In Vehicles and Caravans that do not have adequate plot space must pay the appropriate fee to park in the parking field and may NOT be lived and/or slept in. ** PLEASE BUY YOUR PLOT TICKET NOW **

  28. No fires will be permitted in camp sites or car parks; Only the designated Doune official campfire point which may only be started/tended by Doune Crew.

  29. Amplified music will not be permitted between 23:00 and 10:00 in campsites.

  30. All attendees (including guardians on behalf of their children) consent to be photographed and filmed as an audience member for the resultant images and footage to be used by Doune the Rabbit Hole.

  31. Illegal Drugs are illegal for a reason. They are dangerous and will not be tolerated at Doune the Rabbit Hole. We have a zero tolerance approach to drugs. Please do not bring and/or take illegal drugs. Searches will be carried out by security and, if you are found to have any illegal drugs, they will be confiscated and you will be ejected from the site or arrested.

  32. All attendees agree to have their person, tent, vehicle and any other property searched by SIA badged members of the Doune Security Team.

  33. Doune is held on a country estate, consequently, there is a wide variety of walking surfaces. Take particular care when away from tarmac surfaces and ensure you return to lit areas before dusk. As you would expect accidents are possible so please dress appropriately and take care.

  34. No access to the nearby River Forth is permitted by anyone in attendance. 

  35. Any attendees entering the river will have their wristbands removed and access to the event revoked with no refund offered.

  36. Doune the Rabbit Hole reserves the right to amend these T&Cs without notice at any time.

 

Disclaimer:

You use the festival venue at your own risk; 

The promoter shall disclaim liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the promoter, its servants or agents or any person whilst entering or leaving the festival venue; 

The promoter shall disclaim liability for death, injury, disease or loss caused to any person or to his servant or agent at the festival venue; 

The promoter shall disclaim liability for any loss, damage or theft to property including vehicles at the festival venue; 

The promoter shall disclaim liability for any inaccuracies in any information published with regard to the event.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland and the Scottish courts have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of dispute.

WARNING – Loud music can damage your hearing. Young children are particularly vulnerable to hearing damage so please consider bringing ear defenders for them.
